If you have at least one year of experience supporting people with disabilities and a passion for helping people achieve their goals, we are looking for you! We have several openings for Part Time and Full Time Community Habilitation Counselors in the city of Rochester. Our counselors provide direct support individuals with disabilities to live successfully as members of their community. You'll be able to share your creativity and enthusiasm with others in a job that is rewarding and offers many opportunities to advance in your career. You may provide supports to the individuals in their homes and in the community according to their needs and goals.
You will need:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- One year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or one full year of college courses in a related field.
- A valid driver’s license
Other knowledge, skills and abilities required:
· Commitment to including people with disabilities in all community settings.
· The ability to creatively problem solve and work effectively with a team.
