StarBright ABA is a private agency providing the highest quality therapeutic services to children. We specialize in the treatment of autism spectrum disorders.
For children who fall on the Autism spectrum, StarBright Applied Behavior Analyst offers a comprehensive and intensive approach known as Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). ABA focuses on increasing desired behaviors and reducing problematic behaviors through the use of reinforcement, shaping, prompting and other behavioral principles. StarBright’s ABA therapy is highly individualized and developed to meet the specific needs of each child.
The registered behavior technician delivers ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapy according to a treatment plan that is written and supervised by a licensed board certified behavior analyst.The behavior therapist will work under the supervision of a Lead RBT, BCBA, LBA.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Work 1:1 with children and families implementing ABA interventions and programs (in the home, office, or community).
- Document therapy sessions using session notes and data collection management systems. (Data collection, graphing and daily session notes.)
- Attend team meetings as needed.
- Maintain professional relationship with clients and their families at all times.
- Engage in ongoing communication with supervisor(s).
- Work under the supervision of the Licensed Behavior Analyst
- Demonstrate implementation of behavior interventions and skill acquisition programs.
- Competitive hourly wage based on experience.
3 part time/full time positions including afternoon/evening hours M-F
Requirements:
- Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) technician MUST HAVE 1 year experience with ABA or Bachelor's degree in Behavior Analysis or related field.
- Must have experience working with children
- Have a valid Driver’s License and proof of liability insurance
- Daily access to internet via computer, tablet, or smartphone
- Must possess a high degree of professionalism
- Availability to work at least 10 hours per week during afternoons and evenings
- Undergo a background check
