StarCare Specialty Health System (StarCare) is seeking a full time Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join its outstanding Human Resources Team. This position is responsible for managing incoming calls, greeting and directing visitors, and providing administrative support to the Human Resources Department and other departments as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls for the Center promptly and professionally and direct calls to appropriate departments or personnel;
- Provide information to callers about the Center's services and operations and take and relay messages accurately;
- Greets and directs all visitors at the Corporate office location courteously;
- Maintain a visitor log and issue visitor badges;
- Direct visitors to appropriate offices or meeting rooms;
- Ensure the reception area is tidy and welcoming;
- Prepare correspondence, reports, schedule and assist with Center travel, coordinate departmental meetings, and other related duties;
- Maintain and update employee records, such as input of Center issued mobile phone numbers into the HRIS System;
- Assist with HR-related inquiries, answer general HR questions regarding policies and procedures, and direct specialized HR questions to the appropriate HR specialists;
- Provide administrative support to the Human Resources Department and other departments as needed;
- Compile information, research issues, and compose special reports to provide information and support to various departments and management, as needed;
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
This position ensures all activities support the vision, mission, values and goals of the StarCare Specialty Health System.
Schedule: This is a full-time/non-exempt position scheduled Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm, with flexibility to meet the needs of the department.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate’s degree preferred with a specialization in fields such as Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field.
- Previous Receptionist experience or 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, demonstrating proficiency in handling calls and greeting visitors.
- Experience in providing administrative support to various departments.
- Experience in HR-related tasks such as maintaining employee records and handling inquiries preferred.
Skills & Abilities:
- Knowledge and skill in operating standard office equipment (phone, fax, copier, etc.) and operating personal computers, including Microsoft Office products is required.
- Adherence to office hours and consistent attendance is a must.
- Exceptional organizational skills are required, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
Additional Requirements:
- Must pass a pre-hire drug screen and criminal background check.
- Must have a Texas driver's license, liability auto insurance, and be insurable under the Agency's insurance.

Salary : $15 - $18
