About Us
Carver Road Hospitality now has two venues at the new Civilian Hotel. The two floor, 150-seat Rosevale Kitchen & Cocktail Room, will feature a chef-driven & seasonally influenced menu prepared with regionally sourced ingredients. On the rooftop, Starchild will showcase spectacular sunset views to the post-work crowd along with a concise menu of creative small bites.
Position Summary
The barback is responsible for stocking/restocking all bar supplies while maintaining an organized bar area. The barback may assist bartender with other duties such as preparing drinks if needed, to ensure exceptional guest service.
Duties and Responsibilities

Properly sets-up the bar stations, prepares and restocks garnishes, as directed by management.

Performs side-work and other opening/closing procedures.

Assists the bartenders to ensure a high level of quality and prompt guest service.

Assists with bussing any dishes from the bar top.

Responsible for emptying the trash from behind the bar.

Responsible for keeping clean and organized to company standard all back of house storage and refrigeration.

Responsible for keeping all liquor displays and shelving organized and maintaining par levels.

Responsible for reporting all breakage, damage of equipment or furniture immediately to management.

Attends and participates in daily pre-service meetings.

Updates knowledge by participating in staff training opportunities.

Maintain professional appearance standards as directed in the Employee Handbook

Anticipate and accommodate needs of the guests while providing professional and exceptional service to ensure guest satisfaction.

Maintain general cleanliness of bar, bar area and the entire venue

Possesses general knowledge of all food and beverage menus, and company policies & procedures.

Protects establishment, guests, and employees by adhering to Department of Health and company sanitation standards.
Our Ideal Candidate:

Previous barback/hospitality experience in a high-volume restaurant/lounge.

Must be able to stand, lift and bend for extended periods of time.

Must be able to bend and lift to 50 lbs.

Role may include job duties or tasks requiring repetitive motion.

Must be able to work and remain focused in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.

Ability to work a flexible schedule inclusive of varying shifts such as days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
