Project Overview

Florida Power & Light (FPL) needs testing resources to conduct thorough examinations of various modules for the Xploration Destiny program. This testing is crucial to ensure a smooth transition and optimal functionality of the program. FPL anticipates requiring 13 testing resources in 2025.

Skills

The selected testing personnel should possess the necessary skills and expertise to conduct testing across a range of platforms, including SAP, Web/Mobile, Agent Desktop Application, Salesforce, IVR, Case Management, and Field Operations systems. The testing services should encompass a comprehensive array of assessments, including but not limited to:

• Functional testing
• Regression testing
• Integration testing
• User acceptance testing (UAT)
  
  

Scope of Work

Responsibilities

The selected testing resources will be responsible for conducting comprehensive testing activities for the different modules associated with the Xploration Destiny program. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the following testing services:

• Functional Testing:
• Verify that each module functions as intended and meets the specified functional requirements.
• Test the various functionalities and processes within each module to ensure they perform their intended functions accurately and consistently.
• Identify and report any defects or issues encountered during functional testing.
• Regression Testing:
• Conduct regression testing to ensure that changes or updates to the modules do not negatively impact existing functionalities.
• Validate that previously tested functionalities continue to work as expected.
• Identify and report any regressions or unintended consequences resulting from module changes.
• Integration Testing:
• Test the integration of the modules with other relevant systems and applications within the Xploration Destiny program.
• Ensure that data flows accurately and seamlessly between the different modules and systems.
• Identify and resolve any integration issues or data inconsistencies.
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT):
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define test scenarios and conduct UAT.
• Verify that the modules meet the requirements and expectations of end-users.
• Gather feedback from users and address any identified usability or functionality issues.
  
  

Proposal Requirements: Interested testing resources are requested to provide the following information as part of their proposal:

• Company Profile:
• Provide an overview of your company, including its experience in providing testing services for modules and large-scale programs.
• Highlight any relevant certifications or accreditations in SAP and Salesforce testing.
• Resource Expertise:
• Technical Competence – User level understanding of SAP, Amazon Connect and SalesForce to test the new system efficiently
• High attention to detail - ability to meticulously review system functionalities, data inputs, and outputs to identify discrepancies or errors
• Proficient in documenting test cases, test results, and any identified issues encountered during testing including the use of Qmetry and Jira
• Strong critical thinking skills - ability to understand system requirements and analyze how/if the new system fulfills those requirements
• Strong written and verbal communication skills – ability to clearly report issues, provide feedback, and collaborate effectively with developers and project managers
• Soft Skills – strong time management skills, flexibility/adaptable, strong teamwork
