A timeshare resort activities attendant's primary responsibilities are to organize and facilitate recreational activities, engage with guests, and ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests. They may also assist with rentals and check-in procedures, while maintaining cleanliness and safety in the resort's recreation areas. As a Activities Attendant, you will assist in providing our timeshare owners and guests with experiences and events to make memorable vacation memories, everyone is connected by care and inclusivity.
As a Activity Attendant, a typical day will include:
- Promotes a fun and relaxing atmosphere for Owner/guests in all recreational activities and areas.
- Expresses an upbeat and enthusiastic attitude.
- Provides information to Owner/guests about available recreational facilities, activities and equipment.
- Encourages and recruits’ Owner/guests to participate in recreation activities.
- Processes safety agreements for seasonal equipment
Qualifications:
Valid drivers license preferred but not required
A willingness to follow procedure, complete tasks in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner, maintain proper attendance, and comply with company policies.
Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.
Must have knowledge of the Lake Tahoe and surrounding areas of any attractions and activities that occur
Ability to follow prescribed procedures and guidelines in accomplishing tasks as described above
Ability to be self-directed
Skill in attention to detail
Ability to work as part of a team
Must have strong verbal and written skills to communicate to the guests/owners
Ability to work outside in all kinds of weather
Ability to swim and lead in water activities
Must be available to work weekends and holidays
Physical Demands:
Reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
Lift/Carry/Push/Pull items that weigh up to 20 lbs without assistance.
Job description:
The Activity Coordinator is responsible for our guests and owners experience from arrival through the end of their stay by creating customer delight in every interaction and exceeding expectations. This position assists in the daily planning, implementation and facilitating of a variety of planned Activities for our guests and owners to include but not limited to, games, arts & crafts, bingo, movie nights, and other fun activities throughout the week. Make recommendations on activities and events based on guest/owner preferences. He/She will ensure the guests expectations are exceeded throughout their entire stay and for creating customer delight in every interaction.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsive to guest inquiries in a friendly courteous helpful manner.
- Maintain a safe environment for all customers by enforcing rules.
- Stocking shelves, coolers and freezers when needed.
- General cleaning
- Observe all safety rules; employ safe work procedures when performing the job.
- Present a well-groomed professional appearance, including adhering to company uniform regulations and
practice good personal hygiene at all times.
- Extend hospitality and courtesy to customers and other employees
- May provide food services to guests
- Computer use to prepare communications/flyers to be used throughout the resort.
- Ensure guest/owner expectations are exceeded
- Assist with keeping pool area clean and sanitized
- Perform other tasks as assigned
- Ability to obtain food handler’s card within 30 days of hire
