Position Summary: This is a Sales Position. We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Executive who is passionate about technology and excited to engage with a focus on the media and entertainment industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and cultivating relationships with new clients, facilitating product demonstrations, and guiding them through evaluations that showcase how our product can be used to address their specific data management challenges in media production, broadcasting, and content distribution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities (we have clients around the world).
- Conduct engaging product demonstrations that highlight the unique features and benefits of our software, with a focus on the media industry’s specific needs, such as video editing, post-production, and digital asset management.
- Shepherd potential clients through the evaluation process, ensuring they understand how our platform can solve their data management challenges in content creation, distribution, and archiving.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their environments and unique use cases, cross-polinating ideas, and ensuring clients get the most value possible from their investment in Starfish.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client needs are met and exceeded throughout the sales process and ownership process, with a deep understanding of the media and entertainment industry.
Qualifications:
- 2 years Sales Experience
- Proven experience in sales, particularly within the media and entertainment industry or related technologies.
- Strong understanding of file systems, storage technologies, and data management challenges specific to the media sector, including digital asset management and content lifecycle.
- A track record of successful client engagement and relationship building
- Intrinsic motivation to ensure clients derive maximum value from our technology.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a knack for storytelling that resonates with diverse audiences.
- Creative problem-solving abilities and a passion for leveraging technology to drive business success
