Responsibilities:
- Prepare sushi dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure the quality and freshness of ingredients used in sushi preparation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station and kitchen area
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Train and mentor junior sushi chefs
Skills:
- Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of sushi preparation techniques and Japanese cuisine
- Strong knife skills and ability to handle kitchen equipment effectively
- Excellent understanding of food safety principles and practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Creativity in menu planning and presentation of sushi dishes
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
