What are the responsibilities and job description for the GIS Manager position at Starhired?
We’re looking for a full-time direct hire GIS Manager/Supervisor.
The GIS Mananger/Supervisor will oversee the GIS mapping system, network and IT infrastructure around GIS based systems, plan and develop plans together with various engineering and technology departments, manage GIS projects, create reports, manage the GIS team, train and develop the department.
Requirements:
- Must have over 10 years if GIS experience.
- Must have over 5 years as a supervisor.
- GIS System administration.
- Experience managing GIS data.
- Maintaining GIS data records.
- Designing GIS data collection plans and procedures.
- Supervise staff and train them.
- Other tasks as assigned.
