What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager, Quality position at STARK AEROSPACE?

Responsibilities & Tasks:

· Monitor and Measure the Effectiveness of the Quality Management System.

· Report on Status of Quality Management System to senior leadership.

· Liaison with 2nd and 3rd Party Systems auditors and Assessors.

· Provide Suggestions for the improvement of the Quality Management System.

· Manage Internal Audit Schedule and System.

· Perform Internal Audits.

· Manage processes for Quality Management System Documentation.

· Plan, support, and conduct training Related to Quality Management System.

· Manage Corrective Action Process.

· Report measurements of effectiveness to senior leadership.

· Supervise the Material Review Board and other processes for controlling non-conformances.

· Supervise the collection, analysis, and distribution of customer satisfaction information.

· Provide Information for, and support for, the Management Review Process.

· Adhere to internal ethics policies and procedures and external regulations and laws.

· Participate in Continual Improvement activities, such as Root Cause Investigations, Corrective Action, Preventive Action, Lean, and DMAIC projects as assigned.

· Meet the Quality Management & Process Improvement performance goals as agreed upon with the Director Quality Management & Process Improvement.

· Complete projects as assigned by the Director Quality Management & Process Improvement.

· Other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Authorities:

· Conduct scheduled, as well as ad hoc, internal audits and assessments.

· Require and approve Corrective Action in response to audit findings.

· Coordinate and schedule External Audits.

· Respond to 2nd and 3rd Party and other external audit findings.

· Plan and budget the resources required by the Quality Systems Division as identified in the strategic planning and budgeting processes to support the Quality Management System.

· Define the Quality Systems functional organization and infrastructure in conjunction with the Director Quality Management & Process Improvement.

· Represent the Quality Systems function on ESA Fort Worth, Industry, and Customer teams.

· Prevent the delivery of ESA Fort Worth products, documents, services, or other articles to customers or other stakeholders when there is evidence that they may not meet customer, statutory, regulatory, ESA Fort Worth, or other stakeholder requirements.

· Recommend to the Manager of Supplier Quality the suspension of the use of suppliers when there is evidence that the products may not meet ESA Fort Worth, customer, statutory, regulatory, or other stakeholder requirements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $92,865.00 - $98,565.00 per year
