POSITION TITLE:
DAY REPORTING PROGRAM COUNSELOR
The Court of Common Pleas, General Division, is seeking an individual to serve as a Counselor for the Day Reporting Program. Under the direct supervision of the Day Reporting Program Director and the general supervision of the Deputy Court Administrator, this position will be responsible for conducting skill building groups and educational substance use disorder sessions with Day Reporting clients Other duties include; gathering, processing, and assessing information necessary to determine treatment planning and services for clients working in a collaboration with the Court, probation officers and community providers as part of a treatment team for Day Reporting clients.
Qualifications: Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in counseling, social work or a related field. Master’s degree preferred. Must possess at least five (5) years’ experience in mental health, treatment of substance use disorders or experience in criminal justice or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must possess current licensure in the state of Ohio as an LSW, PC, PCC, or LCDC. LISW, LPCC welcome to discuss opportunities. Must have experience in completing assessments, individual and skill building groups. Job share could be considered.
