What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant position at Stark County Regional Planning Commission?
The Stark County Regional Planning Commission is accepting applications for the Administrative Assistant position. This position is responsible for performing a variety of administrative support tasks. This position is the first person the public interacts with and plays an important role in representing the agency. This person will handle the duties of the front office and will complete additional duties for the various departments as needed. The Administrative Assistant directs incoming calls, handles routine inquiries regarding the agency operations, orders supplies, processes incoming/outgoing mail, records meetings and transcribes minutes, sends out agenda and other meeting materials while adhering to deadlines.
This person must have strong organizational skills while showing attention to detail and ability to proofread and edit documents. Must be capable of multitasking. Accurate keyboard skills with knowledge of formatting documents. Performs office functions in coordination with the Office Manager, and performs other clerical duties as requested. Attends meetings as required.
Qualifications: High school diploma required with additional Administrative Office Technology course work preferred. Familiar with office procedures. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Excellent writing ability with strengths in English and composition.
Salary Range: $30,000 - $40,000
