Job description
Stark Solutions is currently seeking a CNC Programmer.
Day shifts from Monday – Friday (6:30am-5pm).
Air-conditioned facility on 10-acre site. Competitive wages and benefits.
Essential Job Functions
- Create, optimize, and troubleshoot CNC programs for efficient production flow.
- Analyze work orders, drawings, and design specifications to determine the most effective programming approach.
- Utilize CAM software to generate precise tool paths, ensuring optimal machine performance.
- Verify programs and tool-pathing using simulation software before execution.
- Collaborate with production teams to refine setups and enhance process efficiency.
- Develop clear setup instructions and best practices to support operators.
- Monitor program performance to ensure compliance with production schedules, blueprint specifications, and safety standards.
- Continuously improve machining processes to reduce cycle time, material waste, and tool wear.
- Maintain accurate documentation of programs, revisions, and process improvements.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience programming CNC machines using CAM software.
- Strong ability to write and modify CNC programs for mills and lathes.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience operating and setting up CNC Lathe and Mill machines.
- Proficiency with Fanuc controls; experience with Haas, Mazak, or Okuma is a plus.
- Familiarity with ISO-9001 standards and production flow requirements.
- Ability to analyze production bottlenecks and implement programming solutions to improve efficiency.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on process optimization.
- Must be able to pass background and substance screening.
- Must meet company performance standards for safety, quality, attendance, and productivity.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to stand and work for a minimum of 9-hour shift
- Occasional lifting (up to 25lbs), stretching and bending is required
