Engineering Manager

Job Description

We are a midstream Oil & Gas service company with an expansive Manufacturing operation based in Conroe, TX and looking for a talented Engineering Manager with strong project management skills to join and lead our dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee drafting team to ensure focus and timely task completion
• Assign due dates based job requirements
• Communicate with leadership team on project status
• Manage projects including Engineering Change Order completion, processing of new specialty Sales Orders
• Prove designs with Solidworks FEA analysis (2D, elastic & plastic-elastic)
• Provide calculations required on new and existing products and simplifying tools for operation
• Perform and/or supervise creation of design layouts and detail drawings
• Provide engineering support for Operation and Sales
• Create engineering reports, documenting design efforts and results
• In cooperation with the team, identify product and/or process improvements
• Document solutions to non-conformance requests to provide operation support
• Create test assembly procedures and engineering report
• Support Process Control Manager with root cause and non-conformity analysis.

Education and Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in application drafting, manufacturing, and project management
• Experience with filtration and pipeline applications, such as separator and pig traps preferred
• Essential knowledge of customer and industry specifications such as ASME Code Section VIII Div. 1, ASME B31.3, B31.8, B31.4, B16.5, NACE MR-0175 ISO 15156, API
• Experience with Solidworks
• Experience with ERP System
• Experience with PDM System
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working with customer standards and inside sales to provide solutions for customer requests
• Background and substance screening required

Physical Requirements

·This position requires sitting at a computer desk for multiple hours at a time. Physical demands will involve bending, stooping, lifting, grasping, pushing, pulling and otherwise moving objects weighing as much as 30 lbs.
