Job Responsibilities:
- Flip rugs in rug piles to show clients, sales staff, visitors, members of management, and guest company products.
- Locate and retrieve samples and rugs for clients, sales staff or members of management as directed and or as needed.
- Maintain sample display racks and rug piles in a neat and organized manner as needed or as directed by members of management.
- Distribute incoming packages to employees daily.
- Transport rugs from the showroom to the shipping department and wrap for delivery.
- Receive incoming rug and carpet deliveries into computer inventory.
- Scan outgoing carpet samples into the computer.
- Load outgoing rugs onto trucks.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the shipping area.
- Vacuum and clean the showroom including all floors, displays, windows, and sample racks on an as-needed basis and or as directed by management.
- Empty garbage as needed and or as directed by management.
- Must have valid drivers license
- Must possess a pleasant demeanor, interpersonal skills, and the ability to multi-task and speak in a clear, articulate manner
- Interest in the design industry is preferred
- Frequently communicates with coworkers. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
- Must be able to lift over 75-100 lbs and flip rug piles
- Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time
