JOB SUMMARY DESCRIPTION
This position is responsible for providing architectural guidance on technologies that align with Starkey's IT and business goals. This responsibility will include (but not limited to) solution evaluation and recommendation, early-phase project estimates which contribute to the business case and high-level design. These technologies will align with industry best practices in all facets of database design, Data Warehousing, server configurations, and performance tuning for Starkey's Microsoft SQL Server Database and Data Warehouse environment. This position will provide 24x7 support for the Starkey global facilities as well as HQ.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide architectural / design guidance on all SQL Server database applications.
Seeks information and influences choices to align systems to achieve Starkey's IT strategic goals.
Identifies and anticipates business / process flow requirements
Identifies and anticipates customer requirements, expectations and needs.
Identifies service gaps, redundancy and complexity in Starkey's SQL Server database and related applications environment.
Actively participate in technology / vendor user groups to stay current with available technologies that may be of benefit to Starkey's business and IT initiatives.
Attend and participate in technical user groups.
Defines issues clearly despite incomplete or ambiguous information.
Identifies and anticipates customer / management requirements, expectations and needs of documentation sources.
Ensures follow-up with customers to certify that the resolution of problems maintains customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Salary and Other Compensation :
The target pay rate for this position is between $121,660.00 - $173,250.00 annually. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include : geography / market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is eligible for a bonus based upon performance results. There is no guarantee of payout.
