How you get to help as a Behavior Support Specialist:
- Support individuals diagnosed with a disability and challenging behaviors in a day program or group home setting.
- Teach, learn and interact with our persons served to help them reach their full potential.
- You may get to participate in interactive activities such as the park, shopping, and other fun activities.
- Assist individuals with personal hygiene and household duties.
Requirements for the Behavior Support Specialist:
- Must have High School Diploma, GED, or Work-Keys Bronze Certificate
- Be at least 17 years old
- Valid Driver's License for a minimum of two years with a good driving record. (we may be able to accommodate, but not guaranteed)
- Pass drug and alcohol screenings
- Pass criminal background checks
- Must be available for 2-4 weeks of PAID training, M-F 8:30am-5:00pm.
- Bilingual in ASL (American Sign Language) or Spanish preferred, but NOT required.

Pay Rate:
$500 Part Time Hiring Bonus
$1000 Full Time Hiring Bonus
First shift: $16.50 per hour (MUST HAVE DSP/ Mental Health Experience)
Second Shift Weekday: $17.25 per hour/ Weekend: $18.25 per hour
Third Shift Weekday: $18.50 per hour/ Weekend: $19.50 per hour
