This position is responsible for participating in the day to day operations of the Community Employment program. Additionally, they must provide training, supervision and safety for persons served in the Community Employment program. You will get to play a key role in helping our person-served achieve their career goals.

Pay Rate and Schedule
$16.45 per hour
M-F 8am-4:30pm. May be required to work flexible schedule that includes evening and weekend work, occasionally.

Requirements for the Community Employment Specialist role:
- Two (2) years experience in programs serving persons with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
- High school diploma or general equivalent degree (GED) required. OPTIONAL: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science degree in human services preferred, but not required.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Pass drug and alcohol screenings
- Pass criminal background checks
- Must be available for 2-4 weeks of PAID training, M-F 8:30am-5:00pm.
- OPTIONAL:ASL (American Sign Language) preferred, but NOT required.
