Lead Automotive Mechanic
How You Can Ensure Safety as a Lead Automotive Technician
- Diagnose and repair company vehicles to ensure employees and persons served can drive away feeling safe and comfortable. This can include diagnosing and evaluating vehicles, setting the general and preventative maintenance schedule, oil changes, A/C service, brake service, engine and electrical service for all vehicles.
- You get to work on a wide range of vehicles from minivans to paratransit buses, and wheelchair lifts.
- You get to work as part of a team to solve technical problems quickly and effectively.

Pay rate and Schedule
$26.50 per hour (Pending up experience and certifications)
M-F 8am-5pm

Requirements for the Lead Automotive Mechanic Role:
- Must have High School Diploma, GED, or Work-Keys Bronze Certificate
- ASE certifications required in one or more of the following areas: Brakes, Heating and Air Conditioning, Suspension and steering, Automatic Transmission and Transaxle, Engine Performance, Engine Repair
- Valid Driver's license for a minimum of two years with a good driving record.
- 5 years of experience working on vehicles, preferably mid-sized fleet vehicles.
- Experience with DOT vehicles and inspections.
- Experience managing a shop and other mechanics, preferred, but NOT required.
- Must have experience with automotive electrical and hydraulic systems.
