W2 (full time) Dayton, OH Installation.
The candidate will be provided with a vehicle, vehicle insurance, training, and medical insurance. We are looking for someone with a technical background who is sociable and well-spoken. The position requires a willingness to travel for installations.
The pay rate is $20 per hour. 40 hours a week,
Alert Medical Alarms is a family-owned and operated company with over 25 years of health care industry experience that is seeking a full-time Technician Installer in our Dayton, OH office for our Medical Alarm Monitoring operations.
Technician Installers are responsible for performing in home/residential PERS (Personal Emergency Response System) installations, service and retrieval of Alert Medical Alarms equipment.
RESPONSIBILITIES for the Technician Installer:
*Delivery and initial setup and testing of medical alarm units in client’s homes.
*Educate/demonstrate PERS/Med Dispenser equipment and services with client/caregiver, ensuring their comfort in its use and testing procedure.
*Required to communicate a general understanding of the PERS installation agreement to the client and have them sign the appropriate paperwork.
*Follow-up with various MCO and SCE agencies regarding installation or our services.
*Maintains and manages any inventory of equipment distributed to you by Operations Manager, when delivered to client’s home.
*Occasional evening and/or weekend appointments may be required for emergency service work orders.
*Attend staff and operation meetings.
REQUIREMENTS for the Installer Technician:
*Must be able to be in a vehicle for most of the day.
*Patience and a professional demeanor when interacting with clients and partners
*Familiarity with PERS, dealer portals and device portals.
*Should be able to work independently with direction.
*Knowledge of Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
