Job Description: Technician Installer – Alert Medical Alarms
Location: 1099 - Dallas, TX
Workload: 15 to 20 jobs per week
Alert Medical Alarms is a family-owned company with over 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry. We are seeking a full-time Technician Installer in the Dallas, Texas area for our Medical Alarm Monitoring operations.
Technician Installers are responsible for performing in-home PERS (Personal Emergency Response System) installations, service delivery, and retrieval of Alert Medical alarm equipment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Delivery, initial setup, and testing of medical alarm units in clients’ homes.
- Educate and demonstrate PERS equipment and services to clients and caregivers, ensuring their comfort in its use and testing procedures.
- Communicate a general understanding of the PERS installation agreement to the client and have them sign the appropriate paperwork.
- Follow-up with various MCO and SCE agencies regarding installations.
- Maintain and manage an inventory of equipment distributed by the Operations Manager when delivered to the client’s home.
- Occasional evening and/or weekend appointments may be required for emergency service work orders.
- Attend staff and operation meetings.
- Represent the company at events and exhibitions in the area as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to be in a vehicle for most of the day.
- Patience and a professional demeanor when interacting with clients.
- Familiarity with PERS, dealer portals, and device portals.
- Tech background is preferred.
COMPENSATION:
- $40 per completed installation
- $250 bonus after completing 20 stops
- Mileage reimbursement for up to 60 miles round trip.
