Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential to the overall efficiency of our food service operations in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment.

Duties

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and kitchen floors by sweeping and mopping as necessary.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, supporting cooks and kitchen staff in their duties.
• Help with bussing tables and clearing away used dishes to maintain a tidy dining area.
• Ensure that all kitchen equipment is properly cleaned and stored after use.
• Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during peak service times.

Requirements

• Previous , restaurant, or culinary environment is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks effectively.
• A positive attitude and willingness to help others in the kitchen team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• Knowledge of basic food service practices is a plus but not mandatory.
