Starling is looking for a lead server to help our culinary team shine. The ideal candidate will help motivate our staff to provide excellent customer service in a rewarding environment, while ensuring efficient restaurant operation.
SHIFT: 10am-630pm & rotating weekends (every other weekend off)

- Excellent communication skills.

- Become the liaison between the kitchen and the front of the house.
- Assist with recruiting, training and development programs for all staff.
- Monitor employee dress code.
- Perform Dining Room opening and closing duties, and ensure all servers are trained to perform.
- Attend management and staff meetings.
- Interact with Residents by answering questions, solving problems, overseeing services, taking reservations and introducing him or herself to prospective Residents on tours.
- Undertake special projects as requested.
- Respond efficiently and accurately to Resident complaints.
- Organize and supervise Front of the House team member shifts.
- Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity.
- Adhere to local regulations concerning health, safety, or other compliance requirements, as well as brand standards and local policies and procedures.
- Proven work experience as a lead server or similar role in high volume atmosphere for a minimum of 2 years.
- Proven customer service training experience.
- Management: 1 year (Required)
- Restaurant or Hospitality industry: 2 years (Preferred)
