Avionics Software Engineer (Embedded)
In this role, you will be responsible for developing embedded software on spacecraft hardware. You will conduct trades that optimize for cost, speed, and performance. You will drive your system(s) from prototype phase through production and lunar surface operations.
Responsibilities
- Take high ownership of embedded software from concept through operation on the lunar surface.
- Write performant, highly reliable, and maintainable code for custom spacefaring hardware
- Participate in architecture, design, and code reviews.
- Develop sensor and actuator drivers, telemetry systems, remote command and control systems, device and process management systems, and more.
- Integrate GNC / Autonomy algorithms onto custom hardware
- Create SIL and HIL test frameworks with a balance of development speed and system reliability in mind

EAR REQUIREMENTS :
To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
Salary : $80,000 - $210,000
