Position Summary :
We are seeking a driven automation engineer to join our team in a highly automated factory setting. In this position the candidate will troubleshoot and transform systems data into actionable maintenance items to reduce and eliminate automated systems losses. This position will facilitate informed decision making for department staff by identifying losses and their causes in real time. This position plays a critical role in support of the departmental shift supervisor.
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Execute real-time data analysis to identify and correct automated equipment faults.
- Serve as the communication liaison between maintenance leads and departmental staff when system faults / errors are detected through monitoring.
- Develop countermeasures to address issues through data analysis, using root cause analysis tools to drive losses down to zero.
- Collaborate on the creation and distribution of daily, weekly, and monthly reports covering departmental KPIs.
- Maintain an interdepartmental meeting schedule to collaborate on machine loss mitigation.
- Perform other position related duties as assigned.
