Position Summary :

STARPLUS ENERGY LLC is seeking a dynamic, energetic and detail-oriented Business Systems Specialist to join our QMS Business Systems team. The Business Systems Specialist will manage the assigned Business Processes and areas. This individual will lead and facilitate the areas to sustain the requirements for the Quality Management System, (IATF16949), laboratory accreditation (ISO17025), and additional business requirements by creating, implementing and improving the Business System Documentation. He / she will work with Quality and other teams to meet organizational and departmental goals and drive continuous improvement and excellence throughout the facility. This position reports to the QMS Business Systems Manager.

Roles Responsibilities :

Responsible for assigned Processes including requirements, documentation, records and metrics (Key Performance Indicators) and day to day activities to maintain compliance and effectiveness.
Work closely with stakeholders and assigned persons in charge to implement, improve, and track effectiveness of their processes to drive excellence, meet business needs and make them part of daily activities.
Lead and perform assigned audits which may include System, Process, Product or other internal audits and track nonconformance closure
Perform assigned internal audits and track completions and closure
Perform other position related duties as assigned

Requirements

Basic :

Minimum Age : 18 years old

Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Quality, Business or technical field from an accredited university

Skilled in using Microsoft office including Work, PowerPoint and Excel

Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interface with various levels of employees within all areas of the plant and the ability to build and facilitate cross functional teams

Quality experience in systems, on the floor or with customers and suppliers.

While travel is unlikely, the ideal candidate will be able to travel, with reasonable prior notice as required (domestic and / or international)

Ability to work overtime, weekends, or holidays as required

Preferred :

IATF16949 Certified Lead or internal auditor

Experience with implementing or maintaining Quality Systems (IATF 16949. ISO9001, other)

Experience with AIAG core tools (APQP, Control Plans, FMEA, PPAP, MSA and SPC)

Skilled in using Data Analytics using MS Excel, Spotfire, Tableau, Power BI or similar application

Experience in External Audits from third parties or customer (leading all or part of the audit preferred)

Experience in training on Quality Systems, Tools, concepts or other topics.

Working Conditions :

Ability to sit, walk and stand for extended periods of time

Ability to work around the potential exposure to dust and chemicals

Ability to wear appropriate PPE as deemed essential for the job function

Ability to lift up to 30 pounds

To safely perform the essential functions of the position you must be able to distinguishcolors
