Under the supervision of the Chief Executive Officer, the Early Head Start Program oversees the day-to-day operations of the Early Head Start program, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, leading a team of educators, and providing a high-quality learning environment for infants and toddlers from low-income families, while actively engaging parents and managing all aspects of the program including staff supervision, curriculum development, and budget oversight; essentially ensuring the program meets all Early Head Start standards and mandates. Supervises, plans, implements, and coordinates Early Head Start Education, Disabilities, Family Services, Health Services, Parent, Family, and Community Engagement Components to maintain program compliance with Early Head Start Performance Standards and policies, federal, state, and local laws, and local grant goals and objectives. 


Responsibilities

• Develop and implement program goals and objectives in alignment with Early Head Start regulations and best practices

• Oversee the administration, operations, and quality assurance of the Early Head Start program, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local standards

• Lead, mentor, and support a team of educators and staff to promote professional development and enhance program delivery

• Collaborate with community partners and stakeholders to strengthen services and resources for families

• Analyze data and outcomes to assess program effectiveness and implement continuous improvement strategies

• Manage program budgets and funding opportunities, ensuring fiscal responsibility and sustainability

• Advocate for the needs of children and families at local, state, and national level




Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:  Required or Preferred.

• BA/BS in Early Childhood Education or a directly related field

• CDHS Center Director Certificate or a Level 4 Professional Credential 2.0 (preferred)

• Working knowledge CO Child Care licensing standards

• Minimum two years’ experience in a supervisory position in an early childhood setting (three to five years preferred)

• Compliance with other regulatory requirements as applicable

• Pass CBI & FBI background check and drug screen

• Flexibility to work an alternating schedule that will include opening (7am) and closing (6pm) center hours and occasional evenings and weekends





Salary : $56,845 - $61,422
