Starr RegionalMedical Centeriscurrently seeking talent to fill the position ofCMA for our Athens Family Practice department.
This job is permanent,full-time.
Under the supervision of physician or nurse, assists with performing patient assessments and treatments.
Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection. Monitors and communicates changes in patient condition. Documents patient care given.
Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting. Maintains examination areas.
Performs administrative or clerical duties as assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.

Qualifications
Minimum EducationHigh school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience : Preferred X Required Graduate of a Medical Assistant Program : X Preferred Required Required LicensesMedical Assistant
Current RMA / CMA / NCMA or CCMA Certification issued by the credentialing body of the AAMA / ARMAL / NHA : Preferred X Required Required SkillsCertifications : The below certifications will be required at the time of hire : X Basic Life Support (BLS)
