Essential Job Functions:
This position is responsible for supporting the Environmental, Energy, and Commercial Auto Claims Teams. The work activities may include but are not limited to:
- Research policy and client information in Salesforce & Starr360
- Receive FNOLs and create Claim Setup sheet, then review new claims for accuracy after setup
- Draft and send Acknowledgement letters and Closing letter
- Review bills and process payments
- Run multiple reports with unique timelines, and ad hoc reports from PowerBI
- Pull Loss Runs from TPA from internal systems
- Daily Arb Forums routing to TPAs, as well as monthly Arb Invoice tracking
Position Requirements
- The candidate must have experience in the insurance industry and the ideal candidate will have experience in the Environmental, Energy, or Commercial Auto lines of business, though other related Claims experience will be considered
- Three-to-five years of Claims Administrative Support preferred
- A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, but will also look at relevant job experience
- Demonstrated success of the claims processes, compliance requirements, and strong analytical capability will be important
- Must have experience with a claims case management system and understand the claims lifecycle. Experience in Claims Enterprise would be very helpful.
- Excellent organization skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Must be self-motivated and a team player
- Ability to manage time effectively, set priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
- Must be service and risk-management oriented
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Power Point, and PowerBI.
- May be asked to perform other duties as required by management
- The ideal candidate will be eager to advance within the Claims Department
