What are the responsibilities and job description for the Digital Content & Social Media Manager position at Starr Hill Brewery?
Starr Hill Brewery’s Digital Content & Social Media Specialist will be responsible for creating and utilizing digital content and social media to enhance the Starr Hill brand. This position reports directly to the Vice President and works collaboratively with the other members of the marketing team and hospitality teams.
This position will be responsible for producing dynamic photographic, graphic, and video content for corporate and retail social media channels as well as maintaining the digital asset library for various internal and external applications.
Specific job duties include:
- Being the lead for all social media activity for Starr Hill Brewery and taprooms.
- Maintain organization of digital assets on company platforms.
- Developing digital communication on a regular basis for wholesale, retail, and consumer audiences.
- Creating purposeful, on-brand content for the Starr Hill brand
- Working in collaboration with the executive, operational, and sales teams, develop social strategies and content plans that support brand initiatives.
- Develop, execute, and measure paid and organic social media campaigns to increase Starr Hill’s social media presence and effectiveness.
- Regularly partner with all Starr Hill retail locations to assist and collaborate with the teams on their social media, content creation and marketing strategies.
- Engage with consumer audience regularly on Instagram, Facebook, and any future social platforms to create brand conversation and engagement.
- Assist in managing the corporate website content to ensure that the messaging is consistent with key brand and program initiatives.
- Contribute to the planning, development, and implementation of new products, marketing campaigns, charity programming, sponsorships, and major events.
