Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Underwriter to join our Excess Construction team at Twin Maples Specialty, located in Alpharetta, GA. The successful candidate will be responsible for underwriting and managing a portfolio of excess construction accounts, ensuring profitability and growth in line with company objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of construction risks, strong analytical skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with wholesale brokers and clients.
Key Responsibilities :
- Evaluate, underwrite, and manage a portfolio of excess construction accounts, ensuring adherence to underwriting guidelines and standards.
- Analyze construction risks, assess exposure, and determine appropriate coverage and pricing.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers, clients, and other stakeholders to drive business growth and retention.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including claims, risk control, and actuarial, to ensure comprehensive risk assessment and management.
- Monitor market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior underwriters, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance the company's visibility and reputation.
