Job Description
- Claims manager responsible for technical oversight of general aviation hull and liability claims for North America supervising in-house adjusting staff, outside independent adjusters and attorneys
- Will be primary contact on key client accounts as well as for brokers
- Provide appropriate indemnity and expense reserving philosophy for the company
- Conduct limited file reviews
- Bill time on billable files
- Assist with marketing presentations for new business and the retention of current clients
- BA in Business Administration or equivalent discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Pilot’s license and/or A&P license preferred.
- Minimum 8-10 years of progressively more complex aviation claim adjusting experience
- Prefer advanced designation such as CAIP, AIC, SCLA, or CPCU
- 5 years supervisory or managerial experience is preferred
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written skills
