- 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field (insurance experience is a plus, but not required)
- Confidence in analyzing client needs and offering tailored insurance solutions
- Ability to direct the sales process by working closely with underwriters to secure the best premiums and coverage options
- Strong relationship-building skills, with a focus on long-term client retention and satisfaction
- A proactive and organized approach to daily prospecting, new business development, and managing a pipeline
- Ability to work closely with account managers and our marketing team to ensure accurate and timely policy placements
- Understanding of industry trends and a commitment to staying ahead of client needs and competitive offerings
- Familiarity with insurance agency management systems, or the willingness to learn quickly
- A strong sense of responsibility and ownership in managing accounts and client relationships

Ideal Candidate:
- Comfortable working in a digital environment and with modern sales tools, including CRM systems, spreadsheets, and carrier websites
- A self-starter who is comfortable managing multiple tasks and deadlines with an eye for detail
- Holds or is willing to obtain a state insurance license within 90 days of employment
- Has a valid drivers license and a clean driving record
Preferable Qualifications:
- College degree or a proven track record of success in business or sales, even if it wasnt in insurance
- Proficiency with internet tools, word processing, and spreadsheets
