The Registered Nurse for the Geropsychiatric Department provides comprehensive care for elderly patients with psychiatric conditions, assessing patient needs and developing individualized care plans.
This permanent, full-time role involves administering medications, providing education and support to patients and their families, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care.

Key responsibilities:
- Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with patients and their families.
- Administer medications and perform clinical treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient condition and communicate relevant information to care teams and family members.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on health management and wellness.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Nursing (Preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (Required)
- Current RN License in the State of TN or another compact state.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)
