About the Job
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Women's Services Department at Starr Regional Medical Center. This is a permanent, full-time position that requires an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing and a current RN license in Tennessee.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patient conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to address patient needs.
- Administer medications, collect specimens, and provide clinical treatments as needed.
- Document patient care provided and communicate with the care team, physician, patient, and family.
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, nutrition, and ambulation.
Requirements:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Current RN license in Tennessee or another compact state.
- Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
