What are the responsibilities and job description for the Line Lead position at Starr Staffing LLC?
Summary
Under direction of production manager, the line lead is responsible for setting up and running of the filling line equipment in order to meet company production requirements.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities on the assembly line to ensure efficient production flow.
- Train and mentor team members on proper assembly techniques, use of hand tools, and power tools.
- Daily checks that lines are properly cleaned down
- Monitor production processes, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to enhance productivity.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies within the warehouse environment.
- Assist in fabricating components as needed and ensure that all assembled products meet quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of production output, equipment maintenance, and inventory levels.
- Operate forklifts and other machinery as required to facilitate material handling.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred
- Two years of experience in a production environment
- Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of basic tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers pliers and Allen wrenches
- Knowledge in equipment setup, material, and method in production area
- Ability to make minor adjustments to equipment to achieve optimal performance
- Ability to understand verbal ad written instruction
- Ability to galvanize the other member f the line team to meet production standards and needs
- Team player
- Ability to perform chemical spill clean-up, machine/area clean up and minor maintenance tasks as required
