Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct Safety Audits
- Investigations, documenting paperwork
- OSHA 300 Logs
- Lift training/Re-certifications
- Hosting SERG Training
- Workers Compensation investigation
- Quarterly Safety Meetings (host/organize)
- Hearing Tests (annually) - host/organize
- SERG Meetings (alternate day/nights)
- Conduct makeup refresher training
- 100% quarterly safety challenge completion
- Quarterly challenges starting day 1 of quarter
- SERG Leader
- OSHA Hours Report
- Safety Squad Monthly Meeting
- Safety AOTM recommendations
- Check in on new hires while walking the floor 30/60
- Extinguisher and hoses checks and testing
- Job Hazard Analysis (2-4 per month)
- Host monthly EHS event review meeting
- Review work instructions (2-4 per month)
- Physically fully attend one EHS Audit
- Host Monthly shift to shift meeting
- Update Safety Boards with current information
- Check Fire Aisles and Extinguishers, PPE Compliance, Review Safety Boards, Lock-Out-Tag Out, etc.
- Conduct Safety Orientation 2 times a week along with lift training
- Update the number of safe days
- Respond to emails within 24 hours
- Very detailed oriented
- Highly Organized
- Be able to speak in front of a group of people conducting and leading Safety meetings
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be punctual
- Be Flexible with working hours
- The ability to Sit, Stand, Push, Pull, Lift
- Frequently walking the production floor
- Gather Data to support Safety Topics
