Starrett Tru-Stone Technologies is currently seeking a HR Generalist.
We are looking for detail oriented, success driven, people person to join our team. A proven track record of full spectrum HR is a must for this position.
This position will assist in executing full cycle HR responsibilities including recruiting by building and maintaining inside, outside and online connections to ensure the very best talent sourcing.
They will work in our state-of-the-art, climate controlled facility located in Waite Park, Minnesota. Our facility is in close proximity to St. Cloud, Sartell, Sauk Rapids, Clearwater and other central Minnesota cities/towns.
We offer a $3000.00 sign-on bonus for this position. This is an hourly, day position with negotiable hours working Monday through Friday.
What will you do in this position?
You will provide current and prospective employees with information about policies, job duties, working conditions, wages, and opportunities for promotion.
Assist with disciplinary actions for all staff, including terminations, to ensure consistency and compliance.
Oversee the evaluation, classification and rating of occupations and job positions as it applies to FSLA. Maintain records and compile statistical reports concerning personnel-related data such as hires, transfers, performance appraisals, and absenteeism rates.
Perform recruiting activities such as resume screening, pre-interviewing, setting up interviews, pre-employment screening and onboarding. Plan, implement, and monitor the company’s recruiting strategy including job search companies, social media, and local entities. Work with staffing agencies and other entities by updating each on current openings, processing candidate applications, and communicating in a timely manner. Plan and prepare with local colleges and universities and attend job fairs and other recruiting and company events.
Plan and conduct new employee orientation to foster positive attitudes toward organizational objectives. Conduct exit interviews to identify reasons for employee termination.
Safeguard personnel confidentiality throughout the company.
Prepare and present departmental information at quarterly, annual meetings and as needed.
Back-up HR Manager as needed.
