Starrett Tru-Stone Technologies is currently seeking a experienced Maintenance Technician II FOR OUR 2ND SHIFT. Fridays off! Second shift is 4, 10 hours days. We are looking for detail oriented, quality minded candidates to join our team.
We are looking for a Maintenance Technician II whohas experience repairing, installing, adjusting, and maintaining industrial production and processing machinery. With the ability to inspect equipment, structures and materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects. And analyze test results, machine error messages, and information obtained from operators in order to diagnose industrial production and processing equipment problems.
We offer a $2000.00 sign-on bonus plus and additional $1000.00 for 2nd shift, in your first year.
This 2nd shift position wage range is $22-$26 per hour depending on experience working withindustrial production and processing machinery , plus a shift differential of 15% per hour.
2nd shift hours are 1:30 pm to 11:30 pm Monday – Thursday. Must be able to train on 1st shift.

POSITION SUMMARY
Repair, install, adjust, or maintain industrial production and processing machinery. Inspect equipment, structures and materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects. Cross train and perform activities in this or other areas as required. Analyze test results, machine error messages, and information obtained from operators in order to diagnose equipment problems.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
¨ Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
¨ Adjust or set mechanical controls, components and production equipment/machinery. Align or adjust clearances of mechanical components or parts.
¨ Analyze operation of malfunctioning electrical or electronic equipment. Calibrate or adjust electronic equipment or instruments to specification.
¨ Assemble and install pipe sections, fittings, or plumbing fixtures.
¨ Disassemble and reassemble machinery and equipment to remove parts and make repairs.
¨ Bend tubing or conduit. Cut, bend, or thread pipe for gas, air, hydraulic, or water lines.
¨ Braze metal parts or components together.
¨ Clean, lubricate, and adjust parts, equipment, and machinery.
¨ Conduct performance testing or tests to locate mechanical system malfunction.
¨ Fabricate, assemble, or disassemble manufactured products by hand.
¨ Identify properties of metals for repair or fabrication activities. Identify base metals for welding, MIG weld, ARC weld, and GAS weld.
¨ Inspect machinery or equipment to determine adjustments or repairs needed.
¨ Install electrical conduit, tubing, electrical fixtures or components. Install electronic equipment, components, communication systems, control, or security equipment.
¨ Install equipment or attachments on machinery or related structures.
¨ Install or replace meters, regulators, or related measuring or control devices.
¨ Lubricate machinery, equipment, or parts.
¨ Maintain repair records and perform safety inspections in industrial, manufacturing or repair areas.
¨ Observe or listen to machinery or equipment operation to detect malfunctions.
¨ Position, align, or level machines, equipment, or structures.
¨ Read blueprints, schematics, specifications, technical drawings, work orders, instructions, formulas, and processing charts.
¨ Repair computer controlled manufacturing systems. Adjust measuring or control devices.
¨ Set up and operate a variety of machine tools.
¨ Test mechanical products or equipment.
¨ Understand service or repair manuals.
¨ Use basic plumbing techniques.
¨ Use hand or power tools, pipe fitting equipment and pneumatic tools and pressure gauges.
¨ Use pollution control techniques.
¨ Use precision measuring devices in mechanical repair work.
Education
High school diploma, Industrial Mechanics and Maintenance Technology trade schooling or equivalent
Experience
Two to four years related experience
