This includes program evaluation and performance measurement, operational efficiency and strategic planning. The Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, interpreting, and reporting complex datasets to provide actionable insights that support STARRY's mission. Position Summary

The Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, interpreting, and reporting complex datasets to provide actionable insights that support STARRY's mission. This position will play a pivotal role in establishing a data-driven culture and contributing to the continuous improvement of our programs and services.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES
Data Collection and Management
- Analyze data from sources such as client demographics, service utilization, contract outcomes, and community feedback surveys, using EHR/CRM platforms, accounting/finance platforms, contract performance databases, and stakeholder feedback systems (e.g., EHR Your Way; QBO; Qgiv; etc.).
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency through rigorous data validation and cleaning processes.
- Develop and maintain data dictionaries and documentation to support data governance and accessibility.
- Collaborate across the organization to identify/address data collection needs.
- Conduct in-depth statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations in program performance, client outcomes, and operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Utilize data visualization tools to create clear and compelling presentations of findings.
- Perform predictive modeling and forecasting to support strategic planning and resource allocation.
- Develop and implement evaluation frameworks to assess the effectiveness of STARRY's programs and services.
- Analyze program data to identify areas for improvement and recommend evidence-based strategies to enhance client outcomes.
- Prepare reports for funders and stakeholders, demonstrating program impact and accountability.
- Work closely with the Quality Assurance and Improvement Committee to provide data that will help improve STARRY.
- Provide data-driven insights to support strategic planning, resource allocation, and program development.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
- Collaborate with leadership to define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) that align with STARRY's strategic goals.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant data privacy and security regulations, including HIPAA and FERPA.
- Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality and integrity.
- Training and support staff on data management and analysis best practices.
- Utilize data analysis tools and software, such as SQL, R, Python, and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Collaborate with the Facilities Manager and managed IT vendor to ensure data systems are secure and efficient.
- Stay up-to-date on emerging data analysis trends and technologies.
