Drywall Installer/Finisher

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and a passion for construction and maintenance tasks. This role involves assisting with various projects, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and to high standards. The Laborer will be involved in a range of activities from construction site preparation to final touches on remodeling projects.

Duties

• Assist in the setup and cleanup of construction sites, ensuring safety and organization.
• Perform tasks related to construction estimating, including measuring and assessing project needs.
• Engage in construction painting, drywall installation, and trim carpentry as required.
• Support water damage restoration efforts by following established protocols.
• Read and interpret schematics to assist in project execution.
• Collaborate with team members on remodeling projects, providing hands-on assistance where needed.
• Utilize maintenance person skills for various repair and maintenance tasks around the site.
• Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.

Experience

• Previous experience in a construction environment is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with construction estimating, drywall work, trim carpentry, and water damage restoration is advantageous.
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to tasks.
• Willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to construction and maintenance.
• A valid driver's license may be required for transportation to job sites.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $800.00 - $850.00 per week
