Experience to include quality assurance support or oversight, program management, supervision, training and/or consultation. Four additional years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree. How you will make a difference (Job Overview): This position monitors and provides direction and guidance with quality assurance and compliance functions of assigned regional programs, including but not limited to: a) incidents, accidents, and client complaints, related investigations, and corrective activities; b) licensing/certification-related tasks including LPS designation, Medi-Cal certification, external surveys, citations, and corrective activities; c) program and documentation reviews (client chart audits); d) policy and procedure development and implementation and related training; e) orientation of new program Department Heads/QA staff to QA/Compliance; f) compliance with federal and state regulations and county standards of quality care and; g) the SBHG Total Quality Management system (TQM) including general consultation with system development and monitoring to ensure adherence to TQM program, CQI processes, Rapid Cycle Improvement Process Teams, QI initiatives, use of data and related staff training and; h) Oversight of Joint Commission processes to ensure Joint Commission quality of care standard compliance. Regional QA Managers may provide additional support related to quality assurance and improvement per their license and scope of practice. Division/Program Overview: In this position, you will assume responsibility for a comprehensive range of quality assurance and improvement activities within SBHG-affiliated programs. Your key responsibilities will include the crucial task of reviewing internal incident reports to assist programs in identifying trends and potential liabilities. Additionally, this role requires someone to lead the initial efforts for Medi-Cal Certification and contribute to the preparation of licenses and certifications for all SBHG-affiliated programs, covering CRT/CTF/PHF licenses, as well as Medi-Cal, Drug Medi-Cal, and LPS certifications. Furthermore, you will conduct thorough Chart and Client Documentation Audits for each program, adhering to the SBHG Annual Audit Calendar. This entails providing consultation reports that precisely identify and support corrective action plans to address deficiencies in Joint Commission and Medi-Cal, Drug Medi-Cal, and DHCS documentation and claiming standards.
