Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will work with individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism and other behavioral health needs, to provide high-quality behavioral interventions. This role is an essential part of our multidisciplinary team and requires a strong commitment to patient-centered care and ongoing professional development.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized behavioral treatment plans in collaboration with our clinical team.
- Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions, including ABA, to promote patient growth and independence.
- Utilize medical terminology and HIPAA guidelines to maintain accurate and confidential medical records.
- Collect and analyze data to track patient progress and inform treatment adjustments.
- Collaborate with families and caregivers to promote a consistent and supportive treatment environment.
- Provide patient care that is centered on empathy, understanding, and empowerment.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in behavioral health and developmental disabilities.
- Work effectively with individuals who may have challenging behaviors and communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
Skills:
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism.
- Strong understanding of behavioral health principles and medical terminology.
- Ability to conduct patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
