StarsHR has the following long-term contract opportunity available with our client in Pittsburgh.
Business Systems Analyst
Effectively collaborate with business, marketing, technical and design teams to develop requirements, prioritize enhancements, translate into Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs) and drive projects to completion.
Identifies the functional definitions of the system, complete with workflow; impacts to existing applications; and navigation.
Designs user interface mockups, visual models, charts, flow diagrams and other specification components.
May conduct analytical review meetings as required with business stakeholders and subject domain experts to acquire the necessary details to write functional specifications.
Responsibilities :

Facilitates the clarification of specification issues as they arise during the software development process.
Ensures accuracy, completeness, and clarity of specifications.
In cases where business requirements or scope documents are not provided, assists in gathering business requirements from the appropriate sources.
Follows the company standard development processes to make the best use of limited resources (time, money, people) resulting in a stable, maintainable product that meets user requirements.
Works with minimal supervision, to deliver on schedule, and to coordinate and prioritize multiple job requests.
May present specifications to stakeholders.
Accomplishes all of the above in accordance with standard procedures.

Qualifications :
Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent work experience.
Must be extremely detail oriented, a good problem solver, a good listener, articulate (in both writing and verbal communications), and able to handle projects alone and within a group.
Positive attitude, negotiation skills, strong written and oral communication skills are also required.
Excellent project management and time management skills.
Experience with all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle; knowledge of successful software development methodologies and best practices.
Ability to solve problems across domains (business, functional, technical, and operational).
Demonstrated ability to create and maintain large sets of documentation; a high level of proficiency with Microsoft Word or other documentation tools;
Knowledge of any relational database like SQL Server is required.
Salesforce Objects experience a plus
Mobile Experience with iOS and Android a plus
Understanding of .NET Architecture is a huge plus
Ability to handle change and ambiguity.
Effective in a fast paced environment.
