The Program Associate, EHSN will serve as key support to the EHSN operations team to advance high-priority projects that are critical to the success of EHSN. The Program Associate will provide tactical support to the EHSN team in the areas of program delivery, communications, events and administrative activities aligned with the organization’s mission and strategic plan.

As of the time of this posting, this is the expected base annual salary range. The base annual salary will be based on a wide range of factors, including skills, qualifications, experience, as well as business needs and limitations.

The Program Associate, EHSN will serve as key support to the EHSN operations team to advance high-priority projects that are critical to the success of EHSN. The Program Associate will provide tactical support to the EHSN team in the areas of program delivery, communications, events and administrative activities aligned with the organization’s mission and strategic plan.
Reporting to the Chief of Staff you will:
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Contribute to the success of the EHSN program through project management support, successful execution of key internal and external milestones, and facilitating communication with the operations and external partners.
- Support execution of EHSN annual event strategy, which is anchored by Pre-service. Manage key internal and external-facing responsibilities for the Pre-service program.
- Lead on maintaining accurate donor records and moves management data in Salesforce and participate in the development and management of reports to track and inform individual giving strategies.
- Manage the following administrative duties: provide meeting support for in-person and external meetings, effective calendar management and cascading of key information, book travel details, write and distribute meeting notes, and provide file storage support.
- Assist all EHSN events as needed; including volunteer recruitment/management, event registration (Cvent and Salesforce systems), event timeline management; other event duties as assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of this job description.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Liberal Arts, Journalism, Social Science or a related field and / or equivalent experience.
- Related Experience: Two to five years of experience with non-profit event planning and administrative support is preferred. Experience working with a database (Salesforce preferred).
- Training or Competency:
- Ability to interact with senior staff leadership, and key stakeholders in a professional manner.
- Project management skills sufficient to manage multiple competing and complex tasks efficiently.
- Ability to adapt to changing needs and priorities and remain flexible.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office products; ability to learn and grasp other computer technology and software programs as needed.
- Organized thinker with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to support multiple staff members and work in a team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work with staff and external individuals.
- Ability to process, protect, and exercise discretion in handling confidential information and materials.
- Effectively establish and maintain effective relationships with customers and gain their trust and respect.
- Comfort and experience in handling risk and uncertainty to move work forward.
