Position
We are currently looking for a Bread Baker to join our growing team and support our expanding production. While prior experience is a plus, we welcome individuals eager to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and are passionate about the craft of bread-making. This is an exclusively on-site position with hours from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. Our ideal candidate pays attention to detail, works collaboratively, is dependable, and has a love for the art of baking bread.

Pay:
- Hourly Range: $19 - $21
Responsibilities:
- Arrive on time and ready to work at the start of the shift.
- Maintain clear, professional communication with team members and supervisors.
- Portion dough accurately to meet product weights and counts based on production needs.
- Follow detailed guidelines for dough processing, including preshaping, shaping, fermentation, resting times, retarding, proofing, and baking.
- Record relevant production data, such as item counts and times for each stage of the process (benching, shaping, retarding, proofing, and baking).
- Keep work areas and equipment clean throughout the day, with thorough cleaning at shift end and deep cleaning as scheduled.
- Adhere to Starter Bakery operational policies and food safety protocols at all times.

- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in environments with temperature fluctuations (both warm and cold).
- Comfortable working in an environment with steam and airborne particles (e.g., wheat flour).
- Capable of safely handling hot equipment and products.
