Executive Director

Starting Point Outreach Center has an opening for a paid ministry team member with a heart for helping others and serving their community. Starting Point’s mission is to give assistance, encouragement, and hope in the name of Jesus. Competencies:

· High level of organization

· Ability to manage multiple projects and processes

· Independent worker

· Computer skills (Microsoft Suite, Google Calendar Docs and Sheets and Constant Contact and Canva)

· Excellent communicator – both written and verbal

· Strong interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

· Recruit, delegate and lead teams as necessary

o Learn the services, methods, operations and activities of the ministry

o Provide assistance and advocacy for clients

o Meet with, and coordinate services and activities with other agencies (WCCSO, WAMA)

· Fundraising

o Work with the Board of Directors to raise funds to sustain the ministry

o Develop relationships with banks, businesses, industries, churches and prospective donors

o Maintain records of donations and donors, and acknowledge donations

o Research grants and fund-raising opportunities and apply for available funding

· Manage the organization

o Maintain reports, records, files, etc.

o Manage finances and financial records in coordination with the Board Treasurer

o Coordinate and supervise staff and volunteers

o Plan and initiate new services and activities as determined by community needs

o Coordinate with other community organizations, businesses and churches to achieve the corporate vision and goals

· All other duties as assigned and related to services, events, and activities of the organization

Starting Point Outreach Center is a nondenominational faith-based organization founded on Christian biblical principles. The Director should be a person of strong Christian beliefs, capable of demonstrating Christ’s love to our community and clients. High ethical and moral behavior is to reflect the values of Starting Point

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30,000.00 - $32,000.00 per year
