Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional coaching and support to Members using the Starting Strength Method.
- Monitor Member progress and ensure adherence to programming and technique.
- Build positive relationships with Members, fostering a culture of trust and encouragement.
- Maintain a professional and welcoming gym environment.
- Collaborate with the team to continuously improve the Member Experience.
- Must be available Saturday mornings for coaching development and training though other options can be discussed
Requirements
- Strong customer service background, ideally in fitness, hospitality, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for helping others achieve their goals.
- Willingness to complete Starting Strength training and development including maintaining your own training in barbell lifts.
- Managerial and social media skills are a bonus but not required
- Expected 4-20 hours/week
Compensation & Benefits
- $10-25/hour depending on coaching independence. This can transition to a competitive hourly rate or salary depending on experience, skills, and goals
- Training and development on the Starting Strength Method. With dedication, anticipated time to coaching is 3 months. Anticipated time to sit for Starting Strength Certification 1 year.
