About The Role

  • The Product Photographer will be responsible for capturing professional images of auction items to attract customer interest.
  • The role involves organizing items during photo shoots in accordance with brand standards.
  • The photographer will review live auction photos to ensure accurate representation of merchandise.
  • Collaboration with teams is essential to identify and correct any inaccuracies in the photography.
  • Continuous improvement of photography processes will be a key focus of the role.
  • The position requires adherence to a set production schedule aligned with business needs.
  • The photographer may need to flex into other areas based on workflow demands.
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed to support the team and business objectives.

Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate will have knowledge of DSLR cameras and experience in product photography.
  • A bachelor's degree in photography, design, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Candidates should have a passion for vintage items and an appreciation for antiques and history.
  • A self-starter attitude is essential, as the business operates in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills are necessary for collaboration with team members.
  • The candidate should be able to work independently while also being a team player.
  • Reliable transportation is required to meet the demands of the job.
  • Flexibility in working hours, including nights and weekends, is expected.
  • The ability to lift and move items up to 30 lbs is necessary for the role.
