Role Overview
As a Manager, Financial Reporting, you will lead critical SEC filings, oversee accounting policy development, and drive financial reporting excellence. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Financial Reporting and Consolidations, you will manage 3 U.S. direct reports and an offshore Lease Center of Excellence team in the Philippines. You will collaborate with corporate finance, segment CFOs, investor relations, tax, treasury, and legal teams to ensure accurate and high-quality financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
📌 Financial Reporting & Compliance
✔ Oversee the preparation, review, and timely filing of Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K
✔ Manage the annual 11K & US Pension Plan financial statement filings and audits
✔ Monitor evolving SEC reporting and disclosure trends, ensuring best-in-class financial transparency
📌 Investor & Regulatory Collaboration
✔ Support Investor Relations by preparing and reviewing quarterly earnings materials
✔ Act as a subject matter expert on complex accounting areas, including:
- Share-based compensation
- Earnings per share (EPS)
- Lease accounting
- ✔ Research and prepare technical accounting memos and policy documentation
📌 Process Improvement & Transformation
✔ Lead the implementation of new accounting standards, providing internal training
✔ Manage and update the corporate accounting policy manual
✔ Drive continuous process improvement and best practices in financial reporting
✔ Collaborate closely with external auditors to ensure compliance
📌 Leadership & Team Development
✔ Supervise and mentor the Financial Reporting team, supporting career development
✔ Manage and guide the Lease Center of Excellence (COE) team in the Philippines
✔ Oversee XBRL exhibit reviews and ensure data accuracy
📌 Ad-Hoc & Strategic Initiatives
✔ Lead various special projects to enhance financial reporting and compliance
✔ Partner with cross-functional teams to support business strategy
Qualifications & Experience
🎓 Education & Certification
✅ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Required)
✅ CPA certification (Required)
💼 Experience
✅ 6 years of progressive experience (Public Accounting & Public Company experience preferred)
✅ SEC reporting experience with strong knowledge of GAAP & financial regulations
📊 Technical & Leadership Skills
